Ghost Templar's Rank Structure

This Rank Structure and any changes are approved by the Council of Templars, which is a managerial body consisting of the Grand Masters and the Marshalls.

Due to the mode 16, we decided to change the promotion system in our guild. We don't want to use Item Level as means of progression anymore since Cryptic might change it again in the future. We will be going with the time a member has been in our guild.

That means someone who joins us today will be:

1) Recruit:  New to the guild, these persons have a 2 weeks probationary period before becoming a member automatically (after the requirements on the New Members tab have been met).  They may be dismissed for any infraction against the guild guidelines immediately.

2) Templar:  Regular member of the guild that has passed the recruit probationary period and have 4 weeks of experience.  They may deposit and withdraw from the bank.  Templars receive one public and one written notice about an infraction against the guidelines before they are dismissed from the guild.

3) Squire: Regular member of the guild that has 8 weeks of experience.

4) Hero:  Honorary rank.

5) Legendary:  Honorary rank for for special deeds for the guild.

6) Marshall:  This rank is reserved for officers who sit on the Council of Templars to advise the guildmasters, elect guildmasters, revise guild ranking structure, promote and demote members, and prepare an Annual Plan for the guild. Marshalls are elected by the Council of Templars. They have additional permissions as indicated in the guild settings that are only to be used in the absence of the guildmasters (build a stronghold structure, send out a guild mailing, etc.)  A Marshall may only be demoted or removed from the guild by a vote of the Council of Templars.

7) Grand Master:  Is the rank for co-leaders of the guild. They have permissions to do everything within the guild; however, they must consult the Council of Templars for the activities mentioned above in the Marshall's rank.  A Grand Master may be demoted by another co-leader only by a vote of the Council of Templars.
